I spent 6 weeks this summer working on the penguin conservation project at SANCCOB, and learnt that working with penguins is not for the faint hearted! However, saying that I joined the projected loving penguins and left loving them even more!

Not only was the work at SANCCOB challenging, interesting and enjoyable but my trip was made by the friends I made at the AVIVA house and all the laughs we had!

I also really enjoyed experiencing Cape Town in all it's beauty for six weeks and would love to return to take part in the penguin project again someday.

If you do choose to visit Cape Town with AVIVA my advice is to go paragliding because it's amazing and go to high tea and the Mount Nelson hotel, because it's delicious!!
