We maintain our own vehicles in Cape Town to ensure that we can provide you with a reliable airport transfer service and a great range of exciting and informative tours in and around the Cape Town area.

Each vehicle is fully insured and regularly serviced in accordance with the manufacturers schedule. We have also fitted a satellite tracking system which allows us to pinpoint the exact location of any vehicle at any time. A panic alarm and rapid police response are also included as additional safety measures.

The AVIVA Minibus
Our 14-seater Toyota Quantum is perfect for day trips with air-conditioning, comfortable seating, tinted windows and a microphone/speaker system to ensure you don't miss a thing. The minibus is primarily used for the following tours:

Cultural Tour
Winelands Tour
Peninsula Tour
Hermanus Day Trip - Whale watching in season!

With plenty of luggage space, the minibus also lends itself to being used for:

Cape Town Airport transfers
Transporting volunteers between AVIVA House and Baphumelele for shift changes
Various local project transfers

The AVIVA Bakkie
Our House & Garden Maintenance man (Chris) can often be seen dashing around Cape Town in his quest to keep our volunteer lodges and gardens in tip-top condition. The Corsa Bakkie is an ideal utility vehicle which also makes it great for occassional deliveries and daily visits to the Post Office.

Note: 'Bakkie' is a South African term for a pick-up truck!
